Everything was amazing during 1 day, enjoyed its amazing location near to two beautiful beaches-Mirrisa and Unawatuna, Weligama and Mirissa and Galle and Matara. Food was outstanding and I have nothing but wonderful memories from this trip

The breakfast was great, we will come back. The hotel was located near Weligama and Mirissa, the open sea and Mirrisa and Unawatuna. The staff was EXCELLENT, affable with every request. The venue was in the central setting on the seaside. It was not too far away from Sparky's Grill, serving fast food.

the beds were very comfy, the room was immaculately clean and well-designed on the top level. the hotel's location was unbeatable and wonderful right beside the sea.

Everything was great, amazing location right on the beach, the staff were amazingly nice. The room was fashionable and extremely spacious with a magical view, met requirements. The food was fine with a great selection of choice!

There were extremely comfy beds and a refrigerator, air conditioner, and a personal safe in the suite...

the location was perfect, with breathtaking ocean views that we enjoyed waking up to and falling asleep to. the sound of the waves was absolutely mesmerizing. the washrooms were clean and spacious, and the garden area with sun beds and hammocks provided a relaxing spot during the day. the staff was pleasant and intelligent, offering assistance with car rentals or taxis. the food served was incredibly tasty, with our recommendation being the delicious seafood soup. the swimming pool was available 24/7 and had cool water, and there were cozy sofas on each level. the interior of the hotel was extremely stylish, and the beach location was great for advanced surfers. we had an amazing experience and would highly recommend Southern Gate.

Amazing views from the rooms and garden. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was the best we've had in a while with a variety of options to choose from. The location was perfect, close to the ocean and within a short distance to shops and restaurants.

The condition of the hotel was a bit outdated and could have benefited from some renovations. The pool area was not as clean as we would have liked and there was a lack of comfortable outdoor furniture.

This hotel offers great value for money with its amazing beachfront location. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the rooms with a sea view are simply breathtaking. The breakfast included is also a delicious treat.
